Man's ear chopped off after his attempt to separate fight in Abia state goes wrong (pics)

The unthinkable happened to a peacemaker when he jumped in to separate a fight at a birthday party in Abia state last weekend. Young man lost a huge chunk of his ear which was sliced off during the commotion.

According to Facebook user Iroegbu Emenike who shared the story:

BIRTHDAY PARTY TURN BLOODY, EAR CHOPPED OFF 
My attention was drawn to an incident that happened during a birthday party at Ahaba Imenyi in Isuikwuato Local Government Area over the weekend. 
I gathered that trouble started after the event that led to a fight. The funny thing is that, the man whose ear was chopped off only came to separate the fight.
